Terms of Business for Booking for Open Workshops
Fees
The fee for an event covers all written materials, lunches and refreshments. As all our Workshops are non-residential, the fee does not include any accommodation costs. A VAT invoice and joining instructions will be sent to you to acknowledge your booking.
Payment Terms
Payment is required prior to the commencement of the Workshop. We reserve the right to refuse attendance if payment is not received on time. Unless otherwise stated on the booking form, payment must be made in pounds sterling.
Booking criteria
It is an essential criteria that any delegate booking on a Lifo® 1-day workshop, has already completed Days 1 & 2 of the Lifo® Accreditation process. Life Orientations® Ltd reserves the right to refuse a booking from any person who does not meet this entry criteria.
Transferring courses
If a delegate wishes to transfer a booking to a later course, there will be an administrative charge of 15% if it is within 10 working days of the original course date. If that transfer is then cancelled and/or the delegate fails to attend, the full course fee remains payable.
Cancelling courses
All cancellations to bookings must be made 10 working days prior to the start of a Workshop. If a booking is cancelled within the 10 days or if the delegate fails to attend the Workshop, the full fee must be paid immediately.
Changing delegates
There will be no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace the original delegate more than 5 days before the Workshop. If a substitute person wishes to replace the original delegate within 5 days of the Workshop, an additional administration charge of 15% will be charged.
In both instances, if the booking is for a Lifo® 1-day Workshop, it is essential that the new delegate has completed the Days 1 & 2 of the Lifo® Accreditation process in order to meet the entry requirements for the Workshop.
Cancellation of Workshops by Life Orientations® Ltd and changes to Workshops
Life Orientations® Ltd Workshops are developed and improved on an ongoing basis and Life Orientations® Ltd reserves the right to alter the Workshops’ content without prior notice. It may also be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the timing of our workshops, our trainers, the date or the venue.
Life Orientations® Ltd reserves the right to cancel a Workshop at anytime without liability. In such circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date, credit note or full refund.
Important note
Life Orientations® Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss occasioned to any person acting or refraining from action as a result of the information disclosed by our Trainers during a Workshop.
All bookings on our events are subject to the above Terms and Conditions and your acceptance of them constitutes a legally binding contract under English Law. You will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions (a) at the time of booking if using our website or (b) for bookings made in any other way, unless we hear from you within seven days of our sending you this document.
